What is injured, what hurts, cries out for healing. Every living soul is hurt and waiting for salvation.
Was verletzt ist, was weh tut, soll heil werden. Das ist Erlösung.

Salvation never is earned - it always is granted and it will be granted for sure, as soon as we are able to grant forgiveness to the ones who have injured us.
Heilung ist niemals ein Verdienst - sie ist immer ein Geschenk und sie wird uns geschenkt, sobald wir imstande sind, die Verletzungen, die uns zugefügt worden sind, zu vergeben.

Anyway, there is something we can do:
Dennoch gibt es etwas, das wir tun können:

Who is the one that heals your soul?
Wer ist es, der deine Seele heilt?

It is not your mind, neither is it someone outside of you.
Es ist nicht dein Geist, und es ist auch niemand außerhalb deiner selbst.

It is your soul itself. Your soul needs completion. It longs for returning to its origin. And for that it can't be restricted by any alien power, it must be in control over your life. For that all other controls have to be shut down.
Es ist deine Seele selbst. Sie muß wieder ganz werden. Sie sehnt sich nach Rückkehr zu ihrem Ursprung. Und dafür darf sie nicht einer fremden Macht unterworfen sein. Sie muß sie die Kontrolle über dein Leben haben und alle anderen Herren deines Lebens müssen ausgeschaltet werden.

As long as your soul feels that it cannot unfold, it will be uneasy and it will make you search and roam around. And you will try all sorts of means to happiness. And nothing will help until you give up and let you soul itself stake out the course.
So lange deine Seele spürt, dass sie sich nicht entfalten kann, wird sie unruhig sein und dich drängen zu suchen. Und du wirst alle möglichen Wege zum Glück beschreiten, doch nichts wird helfen, bis du aufgibst und deiner Seele selbst erlaubst, den Kurs zu bestimmen.

After admitting - finally - that all the goals you've tried to reach have been a product of your learning and your greed, you are ready to feel what is really needed
Wenn du endlich zugibst, daß alle Ziele, die du angestrebt hast, nur ein Produkt deiner Berechnungen waren und deiner Gier, bist du bereit zu fühlen, was wirklich not-wendig ist.

Now your soul can live! Finally it is liberated from alien domination. And now it can heal.
Jetzt kann deine Seele leben, endlich ist sie frei von fremder Herrschaft. Und nun kann sie heilen.

And now you can understand, why it is said, that healing is a gift, and that it comes by itself.
Und nun kannst du verstehen, warum es heisst, daß die Heilung ein Geschenk ist, eine Gnade, und daß sie von selber kommt.

All your doing didn't help - it only could lead you to your final surrender.
All dein Tun hat nicht geholfen - es hat dich nur zu deiner endgültigen Kapitulation geführt.

And there, instead of the expected ruin
Und da - statt des erwarteten Untergangs

the redeeming power of the soul itself appeared and saved you.
kam die erlösende Kraft der Seele selbst dir zu Hilfe und rettete dich.

That is salvation.
